How to Draw Sailor Moon
“I am Sailor Moon, champion of justice! In the name of the Moon, I will right wrong and triumph over evil, which means it’s you!” Sailor Moon phoned Tsukino Usagi or Serena Tsukino, the natural feeling of the anime and manga queue. She debuted in Nakayoshi magazine in 1991. Serena thought she was a regular girl but later discovered that she was the reincarnated form of Princess Serenity from the Moon Kingdom.
She leads the Sailor Soldiers in the fight against the forces of evil to save her adopted planet, Earth. Sailor Moon is considered one of the most famous superheroines. She is commonly depicted in cosplay, a hobby in which fans don wigs and costumes to become her favorite character.
Sailor Moon has starred in comics, television series, cameos, and a live-action adaptation. Would you like to draw Sailor Moon? Step-by-step instructions for drawing Sailor Moon
Step 1
Start by drawing Sailor Moon’s face. She uses curved lines to sculpt the sides of her face, meeting them at a smooth point on her chin.
Step 2
Start drawing Sailor Moon’s hair. She draws each thread using two curved lines that meet at a point. Notice how the central lock is more curved than the others, in the shape of a crescent moon.
Step 3
Continue drawing Sailor Moon’s hair using curved lines that meet at a point. Again, note the moon shape of the strand in the center of the forehead.
Step 4
Close Sailor Moon’s ear using a curved line and detail the inside of her with additional curved lines. Continue drawing her hair with curved lines that meet at jagged points. Texture her hair on top of her head with pairs of curved lines.
step 5
Draw her remaining ear using a curved line. Continue with her hair using curved lines, going all the way.
step 6
Make a partial circle on each side of her head. Then draw two smaller circles inside each circle. Draw curved lines between the outer rings, creating a pattern of bands. This indicates Sailor Moon’s unique hairstyle.
step 7
Extend two curved lines below her head, forming her neck. Enclose her neck with two curved lines at the bottom and draw a crescent moon shape between them. Next, remove Sailor Moon’s garment. Enclose a curved triangle shape under her neck and two more curved triangles on each side. Enclose rectangular shapes using long, curved lines along her shoulders.
step 8
8. Extend a couple of long, curved lines from each side of the head, forming Sailor Moon’s long hair. Draw a tilted line between the apiece pair.
step 9
Detail your drawing of Sailor Moon’s face. Draw several small circles from each ear and end in a crescent moon. This forms the earrings. Draw the eyes using three ovals, with parallel lines between the outermost ones. Use curved bars to indicate the nose, mug, chin, cheeks, eyelashes, and eyebrows. In the center of the forehead, draw four parallel lines in a “V” shape with an oval in the middle. Draw short, curved lines below the neck to indicate the collarbones. Draw many parallel curved lines along the channel of the garment.
