Drawing a Cherry Pie
Step 1:
Start by drawing a long curved line. It will become the top of the pie. Draw a series of short curved and riding lines at one end of the long line. The decorative crust begins around the edge of the pie.
Step 2:
Keep drawing the crust on the other side of the pie. Use a series of “U” lines that overlap. This type of scripture crust is made by pinching the edges of the dough together.
Step 3:
Draw long wavy lines to continue the pie crust.
Step 4:
Continue the wavy line of the pie crust and then double to include the edge of the crust. It will not connect to the crust on the other side, where the pie is cut. Then draw a lengthy curved stripe at the top of the pie to describe the missing slice side.
Step 5:
Draw a line to the crust opposite from the anterior curved line. Then sketch the bottom of the pie. Use a sequence of curved stripes to draw each side.
Step 6:
Draw curved lines to complete crust turnover. Then draw the delicious ornament inside the pie using curved lines.
Step 7:
Finish describing the ornament on the pie. Then draw three forms of tears on the pie. These decorative cuts are made in the dough to drop the steam while the cooked pie.
Step 8:
Then draw the cherries at the top of the pie, erasing if necessary. For each fruit, draw a circle. Near the top, track a short line to form the dimple where the rod is fixed. Then draw the rod using a curved line.
Step 9:
Draw the remaining cherry rod using a curved line. Then draw the plate where the pie rests. Use a long curved line to include a circle around the base of the pie. But you can’t cut a pie without leaving crumbs! Draw them on the board using curved lines to include round shapes.
Step 10:
Color your cartoon pie. As it is a cherry pie, we shade red to fill in our example.
